What we are
Stockton Damage Restoration is a free referral service for water damage restoration in Stockton and nearby San Joaquin County towns. We aren't a restoration company. We don't send crews, own equipment or do any of the work.
Why this site exists
When water is on the floor, most people search, scroll and call several numbers. Many of the pages that come up are national templates with little about Stockton. We wanted one place with local answers: which utility to call, how flood zones changed, what jobs cost and what to ask before you sign, plus one number that connects you with a local pro.
How we research and check our information
- Local rules and phone numbers come from official sources: the City of Stockton, San Joaquin County, the cities of Manteca, Tracy, Lathrop and Lodi, and the San Joaquin Area Flood Control Agency.
- State rules come from California agencies, including the Department of Insurance and the Contractors State License Board.
- Weather and flood facts come from the National Weather Service, NOAA and FEMA.
- Prices come from named national cost publishers, with the year shown.
- Before publishing, every local claim is checked against its source. Guides show a "last updated" date.
Who takes your call
Calls go to an independent local business that pays us for referrals. That business can change over time. We don't vouch for any provider's work, so check the license and get a written estimate.
Referral disclosure
We may be paid by the providers we refer callers to. Calls are recorded for quality and training. Full details are on our disclosure page.
If a job goes wrong
Talk to the provider first and put it in writing. If that doesn't work, contact the Contractors State License Board or the California Attorney General's consumer complaint office.
